Chinese zodiac - typographic styleNow in its 13th Year and attracting over 30,000 visitors, Birmingham’s Chinese New Year Celebrations will be held in Southside’s Arcadian Centre on Sunday 7th February 2016 from 11am-6pm.  Packed with free family fun, the day looks to be unmissable if you enjoy traditional and modern Chinese Art & Performance with a 5 1/2 hour programme of live acts on the main stage, plus Lion Dances, Dragon Dances, Live Music, Market Stalls, Kids Fairground Rides and a Far Eastern Food Festival.  ALL FREE TO ATTEND

GEM Media will be producing 30,000 copies of a 32 page programme for the festival celebrations on Sunday, at no cost to the Festival Committee.  The Programme will detail a map of Chinatown, the running order of performances on the day plus the history of the festival, some interesting facts on Chinese culture and etiquette, Chinese recipes and language tasters and of course, an astrology section on the Chinese Zodiac.  The programme will be available in English and Chinese (Simplified) and we expect will reach some 90,000 readers during the months of January – February 2016.

There are 16 pages of advertising available on a first come first serve basis.

3,000 brochures will be delivered in January 2016 to to prime Southside events target addresses throughout Birmingham city centre.  A further 2,000 will be displayed at the Birmingham International Airport lounges and stands air-side leaving 25,000 to be distributed on the day and to various places in and around the Midlands by Southside BID and Chinese Festival Committee Birmingham.
